Accessibility Area 01

Accessibility commitment

Kool&Tech LLC is committed to improving access to its public websites, forms, assessments, documents, portals, and digital services for users with diverse abilities, technologies, devices, languages, and interaction methods.

Accessibility is treated as an ongoing design, content, development, testing, and maintenance responsibility. Digital experiences evolve, and accessibility work may continue as content, vendors, platforms, and features change.

Practical commitment: Kool&Tech aims to identify and address accessibility barriers within its control and to provide a reasonable alternative when an online feature cannot be used as intended.
Accessibility Area 02

Accessibility standard

Kool&Tech uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (“WCAG”) as a reference framework for accessible digital experiences and aims to improve alignment with WCAG 2.2 Level AA where reasonably applicable to the service, platform, content, and technology under Kool&Tech's control.

This statement describes an improvement objective and does not claim that every page, file, integration, third-party component, or feature currently satisfies every WCAG success criterion.

Accessibility Area 03

Accessibility principles

PerceivablePresent information in ways that can be perceived through appropriate text, structure, contrast, captions, and alternatives.
OperableSupport keyboard access, visible focus, reasonable target sizes, and interaction without unnecessary barriers.
UnderstandableUse clear language, predictable structure, meaningful labels, instructions, and error guidance.
RobustUse semantic and compatible implementation practices that support browsers and assistive technologies.
Accessibility Area 04

Keyboard and navigation

Kool&Tech seeks to support navigation and operation without requiring a mouse where the underlying platform and component permit it.

  • Logical reading and focus order.
  • Visible keyboard focus indicators.
  • Descriptive page titles, headings, labels, and link text.
  • Consistent navigation and help patterns where practical.
  • Avoidance of keyboard traps in Kool&Tech-controlled components.
Accessibility Area 05

Visual presentation

Design and content practices may include readable typography, responsive layouts, sufficient color contrast, visible focus, scalable text, spacing, and information that does not rely only on color.

Users may use browser zoom, operating-system magnification, high-contrast settings, reader modes, and other available personalization tools.

Accessibility Area 06

Images and non-text content

Meaningful images should include text alternatives appropriate to their context. Decorative images may be hidden from assistive technology when they do not communicate information.

Charts, diagrams, screenshots, icons, and complex visuals may require captions, surrounding explanations, data tables, or another equivalent description when material to the service.

Accessibility Area 07

Forms and assessments

Kool&Tech aims to provide form labels, instructions, required-field identification, validation messages, error recovery, and confirmation appropriate to the form or assessment.

Where an assessment, scheduling tool, checkout, or embedded form cannot be completed successfully, users may request assistance or an alternative method through the contact information below.

Accessibility Area 08

Audio, video, and multimedia

For prerecorded multimedia published by Kool&Tech, accessibility measures may include captions, transcripts, text descriptions, accessible controls, or an equivalent resource, depending on the content and purpose.

Live sessions, customer meetings, webinars, and third-party media may have different accessibility capabilities. Accommodation requests should be made as early as reasonably possible.

Accessibility Area 09

Documents and downloads

Kool&Tech may publish PDF, Word, PowerPoint, spreadsheet, image, or other downloadable materials. Accessibility may vary based on the file's age, source, complexity, format, and third-party origin.

Users who encounter a document barrier may request an alternative format or assistance identifying the relevant information.

Accessibility Area 10

Mobile and responsive use

Kool&Tech designs public web experiences to adapt to common screen sizes where practical. Mobile usability considerations include readable text, touch-target spacing, responsive content, simplified navigation, callable telephone links, and forms usable on smaller screens.

Kool&Tech's own educational content emphasizes legible text, touch-friendly buttons, functional telephone links, and practical mobile forms. citeturn74search255

Accessibility Area 11

Assistive technology compatibility

Users may access Kool&Tech services with screen readers, voice navigation, switch devices, magnification, keyboard controls, captions, or other assistive technology supported by their device and the underlying platform.

Compatibility may vary by browser, operating system, assistive technology version, account configuration, and third-party component.

Accessibility Area 12

Language and readability

Kool&Tech may provide content in English, Spanish, or other languages. Translations and localized experiences may differ in availability, completeness, or timing.

Content should use meaningful headings, concise instructions, descriptive controls, and terminology appropriate to the intended audience where practical.

Accessibility Area 13

Third-party platforms and content

Kool&Tech services may rely on Odoo, Microsoft, payment providers, communications services, scheduling tools, embedded media, maps, social platforms, customer-selected applications, and other third-party technologies.

Kool&Tech does not control every accessibility feature, defect, update, or limitation of an independent third party. Kool&Tech may report issues, configure available settings, offer guidance, or provide a reasonable alternative when practical.

Accessibility Area 14

Known limitations and exceptions

Potential limitations may include legacy content, complex diagrams, scanned files, automatically generated documents, archived media, third-party widgets, customer-provided material, and features constrained by the underlying platform.

Temporary barriers may also occur during maintenance, redesign, migration, vendor changes, or feature deployment. Kool&Tech prioritizes remediation based on impact, frequency, technical feasibility, service importance, and available alternatives.

Accessibility Area 15

Accessibility feedback

Users may report a barrier or request assistance by email or telephone. A useful report includes:

  • The page, file, feature, or task involved.
  • A description of the barrier.
  • The browser, device, and assistive technology used, if relevant.
  • The preferred format or assistance requested.
  • Safe contact information for follow-up.

Do not include passwords, complete payment information, medical information, government identifiers, or other unnecessary sensitive data.

Accessibility Area 16

Assistance and alternatives

Kool&Tech will review accessibility requests in good faith and may provide instructions, a telephone or email alternative, an accessible file, human assistance, a different communication format, or another reasonable method depending on the request and service.

Resolution time depends on complexity, platform ownership, third-party involvement, impact, available information, and the requested alternative.

Accessibility Area 17

Testing and improvement

Accessibility evaluation may combine automated tools, keyboard review, manual inspection, responsive testing, semantic checks, content review, and feedback from users.

Automated testing alone cannot identify every barrier. Updates may be prioritized during design, development, content maintenance, or remediation cycles.

Accessibility Area 18

Customer projects

Accessibility for a customer website, portal, document, application, or implementation is included only when stated in the applicable proposal or Statement of Work.

Customers are responsible for identifying applicable accessibility requirements, supplying accessible source content, reviewing deliverables, maintaining accessible content after handoff, and approving third-party tools. Testing, remediation, captions, document conversion, audits, certifications, or conformance reports may require separate scope.

Accessibility Area 20

Statement updates

Kool&Tech may update this Accessibility Statement as digital properties, services, technologies, standards, testing practices, and legal requirements evolve.

The effective date identifies the current public version.
